About Me

My photo
I've been an artist my whole life and have had so many exciting art related jobs, which makes me kinda of a jack of a bunch of trades. I'm also college grad with a BFA and went to the High School of Performing & Visual Arts here in Houston. Visit my shop at Etsy and I promise you'll most likely receive a Smile to take with you! I decided to mention that about 10 years ago I was on chemo for 2 years. The chemo worked, but left me with other Heath issues, such as a case of Fibro which left me with having to get disability.Sad news, since I had a great career, that I can not work anymore. With my Faith and determination, I am determined to still do my art. My art gives me inspiration and thank you God! Oh, and please follow my blog! I'd love to have yall join me in my show and tells and also would love to hear what yall have to show and tell!:)

Home Sweet Home

This letter is from one of my best friends. If any of you know of someone, possibly yourself wanting a new little happy furball that is in desperate need of a new home, please comment! all they need from you is Love. Make this a really Happy Memorial Day!
Dear Friends of animals,
My neighbor kids rescued these adorable kittens from outside my apartment complex. They were roaming around skinny and covered in fleas.
They are now chubby, friendly, defleaed and perfectly sweet and purring lovebugs!
I took them to the vet so they are already neutered!!
These kittens desperately need forever homes and can't go to a shelter where they euthanize 75% of cats, especially black ones!!!
Please consider adopting one of these precious puffballs and
Please forward this email so all of these cuddly and well-adjusted babies will find a home soon.
Thank you so much for helping.
Sincerely,
LeAnne and kittens

  3. Hi Linda - we have been so behind in visiting everyone and finally got caught up! We hope those little ones all find great forever homes - if we hadn't just taken some in (their mom was a stray taken in by a friend of ours daughter, and the shelter was going to terminate the pregnancy so instead they kept her and found homes for the kittens with people they really trust - we were lucky to be in that group, along with her mother and sister). They are all such cuties - the black ones make me think of Floyd as a kitten (all black kittens do that). We are crossing our fingers for them!!
