About Me

My photo
I've been an artist my whole life and have had so many exciting art related jobs, which makes me kinda of a jack of a bunch of trades. I'm also college grad with a BFA and went to the High School of Performing & Visual Arts here in Houston. Visit my shop at Etsy and I promise you'll most likely receive a Smile to take with you! I decided to mention that about 10 years ago I was on chemo for 2 years. The chemo worked, but left me with other Heath issues, such as a case of Fibro which left me with having to get disability.Sad news, since I had a great career, that I can not work anymore. With my Faith and determination, I am determined to still do my art. My art gives me inspiration and thank you God! Oh, and please follow my blog! I'd love to have yall join me in my show and tells and also would love to hear what yall have to show and tell!:)

Eye of the Tiger

I just wrote an article about a fabulous artist that I know yall will love!!! She lives in New York City and has the most cheery, happy style as well as being a wonderful gal herself. Her background is also amazing as she pretty much taught herself how to paint, which is unbelievable to me!!! There is a contest going on that I really want to win this month, so the most comments I get the closer I am to winning, so please click on this link for not only an insight to this artist as well as seeing some of her work in the slide show and a bonus picture on the bottom of the article, and visiting her shop on Etsy and website, but also please leave a short comment. Here is the link:http://www.indiesmiles.com/the-eye-of-the-tiger/#respond

Also remember the Beaver County Humane Society photo contest going on! If you can't afford to enter a photo, it only costs 1 dollar to vote for my Kenzie! If you click on the thumbnail on the site you will see an enlarged pic. Here is the link:http://www.360photocontest.com/46 I'd love to win that prize too. I have been donating to this charity and also wrote an article about Kelly who is sponsering this contest with buying her set of cards and also writing an article that you will see on the right side of my page if you scroll down.
Yall can even scroll down my blog and see her cards that she is trying to sell for her charity. Click on this link and click contact to donate with your choices: http://kellydinwiddiephotography.weebly.com/bchs-fundraiser.html

  1. Hey Linda - I commented! And I tried to vote for Kenzie but my computer would not let me :)! (Seriously, I kept getting an error message.) It's a great photo - good luck!

  2. Hi Linda! I went to check out your article. Loved it! Love your Kenzie too. :)

  3. Hi Linda.

Checked out your article and left a comment. I found it very interesting as I lived in Manhattan for 25 years. Not sure where to vote, though.
