About Me

My photo
I've been an artist my whole life and have had so many exciting art related jobs, which makes me kinda of a jack of a bunch of trades. I'm also college grad with a BFA and went to the High School of Performing & Visual Arts here in Houston. Visit my shop at Etsy and I promise you'll most likely receive a Smile to take with you! I decided to mention that about 10 years ago I was on chemo for 2 years. The chemo worked, but left me with other Heath issues, such as a case of Fibro which left me with having to get disability.Sad news, since I had a great career, that I can not work anymore. With my Faith and determination, I am determined to still do my art. My art gives me inspiration and thank you God! Oh, and please follow my blog! I'd love to have yall join me in my show and tells and also would love to hear what yall have to show and tell!:)

Still Creating!!! But wanted to say Hi to yall!

Hi Yall, I miss my blog and yall so much. I'm still creating and making new old stuff as well as new mixed media collage art! I am working on a bunch of pieces at the same time. My first show is the 1st Saturday of October and so far 2 shows in November! Why do the days go by so fast? I'm having so much fun producing but it seems to take so long!!! I sometimes get stumped on how to make things work. I have the ideas but making them work is very difficult at some times.
I feel like that darling kitten on the computer! But I just keep working and hopefully I will get everything done in time. For the mean time I'm taking a refreshing break and want to visit some of yall's sites through my dashboard to see what yall have been up to!
So this is me just checking in to tell yall I have not forgotten yall!
As I enjoy yall's artwork and house pets so....very much!
Hope yall are having a wonderful day!
Linda :)

  1. Hi Linda! Good to "see" you! I know what you mean about art taking a long time - I am usually very fast at other work but when I start doing artwork or crafts, I can spend hours without even noticing (the good part is that it doesn't feel like hours!)

    Wishing you much inspiration -

  2. Glad you are doing well and being so productive! You're shows will be here before you know it and I hope they are a big success!

  3. Lordy that photo is fantastic isn't it! Take care...sometimes the harder we push ourselves the less productive we become (lecturing to self here!)...

  4. Missed you too but know when you get into the creative process hours go by quickly. Hope your time is really productive and that when you go to the shows you have mucho many sales!

  5. Thank you for signing up for my Giveaway! I always love looking at your blog!!
